Our reclaimed scaffold board corner desks are built from genuine boards that have done their time on site, then been carefully dried, graded and transformed in our workshop based in Frome. The result is a solid, characterful workspace that makes the most of your room, whether it’s a home office, studio, or gaming setup.
The L-shape gives you two clear zones – perfect for a laptop and monitor on one side, and notebooks, sketches or tools on the other. You get the warmth and texture of real timber, with the practicality of a smooth, usable work surface.
Every corner desk is unique. You’ll see knots, grain, and subtle marks from its previous life, but we plane, sand and finish the boards so there are no splinters or sharp edges – just a sturdy, comfortable surface you can work on all day. Paired with the right legs or frame, you get a desk that feels planted and solid, not flimsy or wobbly.
It’s also a more sustainable choice: instead of wasting perfectly good timber, we give it a second life as furniture that should last you for years.

The best part is that we allow you to customise the table top and legs, giving you complete freedom of expression and a chance to be a part of the crafting of your item. We sell the table without legs so that you can add your own by choosing from our range of legs over on our Accessories page (we've made some recommendations below). You may even have decided to make your own legs, in which case you're welcome to purchase the table top as it is.

Let's not forget the green credentials too, as the boards are re-purposed and made from a sustainable material, so you know that this product has had minimal environmental impact.

We offer three different finishes for the desk top (please see below). You can also choose to have it left oriented or right oriented. The tables themselves are all hand-made using a variety of techniques. The boards are biscuit jointed and sanded, which allows them to retain a wonderful rustic feel whilst having a professional and durable finish.

We use Danish Oil, a traditional oil which is perfect for bringing out the natural grain of the wood whilst leaving a durable, satin finish.
This is available in three colour options:
- Natural (light)
- Antique (medium)
- Jacobean Oak (dark)

We generally recommend ordering a sample so that you can make sure your preferred oil option is right for you.

Our reclaimed corner desktops are crafted from authentic scaffold boards that have been repurposed from real construction sites. Each piece carries unique character marks, weathering, and patina that can't be replicated in new furniture. These boards are incredibly durable - having already proven themselves in demanding construction environments - and when transformed into furniture, they literally last forever. Plus, you're choosing a sustainable option that gives new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.

Installation is straightforward - our corner desktops can be mounted using standard brackets or table legs (which we can help you source). We highly recommend using our rustic Scaff legs as you can match the finish to your top!
For maintenance, we recommend giving a light sand with a fine grit and treating the wood with Danish Oil annually to preserve its appearance and durability. The beauty of reclaimed scaffold boards is that they're incredibly low-maintenance and any new marks or scratches just add to their authentic character.

Your corner desktop will arrive carefully packaged and ready to install. Depending on your chosen finish, it will be properly prepared and moisture-tested (10-15% moisture content). Delivery typically takes 2-7 working days depending on order size, and we offer free shipping on orders over £200 (use code FREEDELIVERY200). Each desktop comes with our quality guarantee - if there are any issues with faulty materials, we'll provide a replacement or refund within 30 days.
